Kyrie Irving embracing ability to reboundMarch 17, 2019 | 06:56 AM

Kyrie Irving has really be active on the glass of late and it hasn't gone unnoticed. "I think [his rebounding is] great," Al Horford said of Irving after Saturday's win. "I think when our guards rebound the ball like that, I think that's when you start becoming a team that's elite." Irving notched just the second triple-double of his career on Thursday and a big reason why he doesn't have more is due to rebounds. In Cleveland, he played with Tristan Thompson and LeBron James, two monsters on the glass, which meant he wasn't asked to rebound much. Since Christmas of this season, Irving has registered four double-digit rebounding games, which doubled his career total before that period. He's already a fantasy star, but his 7.5 rebounds per game in his last four suggests he could have another level to get to.
